This bit has full cheeks and a single joint, multiple roller copper mouth.

The full cheek keeps the bit from sliding though the mouth on turns, while the single joint creates a nutcracker action on the soft pallet. The rollers can keep a young horse busy and they generally like the taste of the copper.
